A Quick Introduction to Katha Shrimad Bhagwat

  Shrimad Bhagwat, as we remember and also recognized with various names like Bhagwat Katha or Bhagwat Purana. In Hinduism, it is one of the greatest Puranas. Among the devotees of Lord Vishnu. It is positively reversed and the holiest book. And it is a book about Narayana, his detailed account as Lord Krishna’s avatar. As well as include a description of his other avatars. Rishi Vyasadeva is the writer of Bhagwat Katha or Katha Shrimad Bhagwat . And the book comprises eighteen thousand verses. These verses are categorized into twelve cantos. Origin of Katha Shrimad Bhagwat During Sarpayaag performed by Arjun’s grandson (King Parikshit), Shukha Mahamuni (son of Ved Vyas) narrated the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha. This ancient book consists of Ramayana (Ram Avatar), Mahabharata (Krishna avatar), Narasimha Avatar of Lord Vishnu & his other avatars.
